Join us on your doorsteps across the nation this Christmas to sing carols together and spread some much-needed cheer! Carols on the Doorstep started in Shropshire but is spreading far and wide as more local radio stations come on board. See if we’re in your area yet! If not, why not become a street co-ordinator and help us bring it to you?

What you need to know
Thank you for helping to organise your street or community! The more people we can get involved in Carols on the Doorstep, the more festive cheer we can spread!
All you really have to do is let your neighbours know the time and date & get them downloading the lyrics and singing or playing along to their local radio station! It’s best if everyone tunes into their local radio using FM frequencies. If you decide to listen via the internet, there may be a delay.

TO DO LIST:
Download an Invitation and poster and help us to spread the word in every way you can! You could share it with a community social media group, email it to your contacts, stick it on your local noticeboard, ask your local schools to share it, or encourage friends & neighbours to display it in their front windows.
Send us videos of your street (or you) practising so we can use them on social media.

Many organisations are using this event to raise money for charities in their area, which is great and we have lots more radio stations coming on board every day. We ask that you use our beautiful artwork and logo to avoid confusion with other events! Download it here:

pick a charity
Donations are optional but it would be great if Carols on the Doorstep could help raise money for some local charities in your area. We are suggesting a minimum donation of £2 to sing, for the mental health charity Mind (see Choose Your Charity) but you could also arrange bucket donations in your street, or set up a Just Giving page in your area.
send reminders
On December 16th – send out reminders to your neighbours ahead of the event on social media or messaging services, so no-one forgets to join in!
On the Night!
Sing your hearts out!Remind your neighbours to sing in household bubbles from their doorsteps and discourage people from mixing in the street. Social distancing must be a priority at all times.
Take lots of photographs and videos of your street singing and tag us on Facebook and Twitter @DoorstepCarols or send them in for us to share for you.
Let us know how much your street raised for charity!

We aim to raise thousands for charities that have been hard hit by this pandemic as their fundraising has been stopped. Donate to one of our chosen charities or pick a charity that is meaningful to your area and raise some pennies for those in need of support during these tough times…
